By researching the 'The internment of Japanese American’ children and Constructivism's sculptures, these inspire oversized silhouettes and geometric textures. Exploring digital printing, hand dying, and 3D innovative pattern-making techniques, the concept goes against the over-simplified garments in mass production. The collection developed a youthful, functional, geometrical aesthetic by referencing the western and Japanese wartime fashion, as well as the constructivism effect to fashion and artworks.
