Jewelry, Eyewear and Watch Design Contrast Brooch by Shu Zong One part of the design represents a person's thoughts and ambitions, distilled down into a single, angular piece of topaz, while the skyscraper-like "rays" jutting outward represent the multiple facets a person takes on living in modern society. As the name of the project suggests, there are many different techniques applied to the different skyscraper "rays." Different rays have been sandblasted and polished, and other rays have inlaid gems to provide unique contrasts in the design.
